German winter is making its slow, trudging exit, which means we get to enjoy this fabled place outside of our living rooms. Urban Spree is reopening their legendary beer garden to celebrate. Get the details straight from the horse’s mouth:
“First of all, the garden area is transformed in a market place, complete with food vendors (Mama Shabz, Dedeede) and special selected beers.
Their house tattoo parlor will reopen again and the resident artist Amor de Madre will have his tattoo gun in his hands ready. If fashion is more your thing, you’re in luck because the official opening of the Sneeer clothing store. There are hoodies, t-shirts, caps, etc. to browse, all design by Urban Spree artist resident Rylsee.
Naturally the Urban Spree gallery stays open till very late with the current running exhibition of NYC-based artist Bisco Smith and hand-selected books and prints.
Without music there is no great event is a quote from the organizers. This means that the bands Bobby Rausch, Kamoos and Dirty Feetz will deliver wonderful live acts and also DJ Andrew Claristidge will be present.
Later on the evening Happy Endings will happen. Happy Endings is a multisexual rave from London, fueled with erotic aesthetics. A safe space but no echo chamber. During Happy Ending the darkest corners of techno are combined with the brightest moments of pop.
If you are not tired yet an after party is planned. The stage will be filled with Rock & Roll including from the Japanese band Guitar Wolf, supported by Berliner band Kris&Lou. In the basement music will be provided by DJs Miss Nico and Mr. Popp. The afterparty has a paid entrance.”
