Sepideh Safiaryan – tar
will play a short solo set based on improvisation in the 2 Dastgahs (traditional Persian musical modal systems) Nava and Chhargah.

Tony Elieh – table top e-bass
Beirut based Tony Elieh is a photographer and musician. Bass player, he is one of the founders of the Lebanese post punk band Scrambled Eggs.

Michael Vorfeld – percussion

Mazen Kerbaj is a Lebanese visual artist and cartoon author, but also known as one of the initiators and key figures of the Beirut experimental and improvised music scene. In Sawt Out he collaborates with the two percussionists Michael Vorfeld and Burkhard Beins, both of them protagonists of the Berlin Echtzeitmusik, who have worked together in various formations over the past 15 years: the trio Misiiki with Dirk Marwedel for example, the cross-culture ensemble Hanoi°Berlin, in Lotte Anker’s Electric Habitat, and most recently for their audio-visual performance Klirrfaktor.

“odd wednesday” is a new series of events, pseudo curated by Mélodie melak, happening on every Wednesday with an odd numbered date (E.g. Nov. 13th, 27th). In the intimate set up of ACUD’s studio (1st floor) the series presents music of any genre, not or quietly amplified. Doors open at 18:30, concerts starts at 19:00, everything is over by 21:00, entry is 5€ and goes to support the artists.
