Come listen to rising star pianist Nicolas Namoradze, winner of the 2018 Honens International Piano Competition and named as an artist to watch in 2020 by NYC’s WQXR. In this The Azrieli Foundation Debut Series recital, Nicolas Namoradze presents a number of fascinating cross-temporal musical relationships. His program includes works by J.S. Bach and Scriabin, as well as his own virtuosic Etudes, pieces that John Corigliano has called “some of the most innovative and dynamic works of this century.”

Program:
SCRIABIN Piano Sonata No. 9 Op. 68, “Black Mass”
BACH Sinfonia No. 9 in F minor BWV 795
BACH Partita No. 6 in E minor BWV 830
NAMORADZE Etudes I-VI
SCRIABIN Eight Etudes Op. 42
SCRIABIN Sonata No. 4 in F-sharp Major Op. 30
